Bars must show price

The Thai government will start a campaign to let people know about the 1998 Consumer Protection act. They will also start a crack down on Karaoke and other nightlife places around Bangkok mostly.

The Thai law that a shop or bars to show always show the price for the consumers so that the buyer knows the price. If you do not show the price they can be fined up to 10 000 THB.

If some establishment overcharge a customer they can be fined 400 000 THB or and seven years in prison.
